The replacement diaphragm (reactor) is the operating part of the CHIHIROS Doctor aquarium which is responsible for producing bubble mist in the aquarium.
Cleaning and operation
The membrane for Chihiros Doctor is made in a special way, the membrane network is covered with a protective coating. Avoid brushing the reactor, especially eye reactor.If the membrane is dirty or has deposits, deposits or algae, it can be cleaned by soaking in the bleaching solution for 2 to 3 hours and then gently cleaning the plastic membrane elements with a sponge. After this procedure and rinsing the reactor under running water, it is ready for further operation.
Removal of calcium deposits
Ca + and Mg + can be etched onto the membrane surface. Calcium and magnesium are supplied with food for fish and shrimp, dissolved from natural rocks. In addition, there are other aspects that cause calcium and magnesium to settle on the work surface of the device. If a precipitate appears, it is very easy to remove it, pour 2-3 cm of warm water into a glass, pour 20-30 g of citric acid, immerse the membrane-reactor and leave for about 1 hour. After this procedure and rinsing the reactor under running water, it is ready for further operation.
